English Language Proficiency
You must satisfy the Board that you have sufficient knowledge of written and spoken English to engage in legal practice in Australia, see the English Language Proficiency Guidelines for further information.
If so deemed, you must either:
(i) complete the IELTS Academic Module test of English language proficiency, obtaining minimum scores of 8.0 for writing, 7.5 for speaking, 7.0 for reading and listening
OR
(ii) complete the TOEFL iBT test of English language proficiency, obtaining minimum scores of 27 for writing and 24 for speaking, reading and listening
